#TheWastedSwap Weekly Inspiration

With one week left to mail our #thewastedswap totes or pouches I thought it would be a great idea to share a few fun things that you might consider adding to your package. Of course, you are not required to send any extras! They're just for fun. Given that the goal of this swap was just one way we can encourage other seamstress/crafters to look beyond conventional materials to create- reuse, repurpose, and rethink the way we consume it almost seems counter productive to add a bunch of frills?! Worry no more. Here are ___ small DIY projects, giftables, or eco-friendly notions you could possibly include in any sewing swap package to help it be a little more "green"

Seed Bombs/ Etsy

chapstick

eco-friendly small gifts/ locally made goods

garden seeds or flower bombs

reusable cup

unpaper towels

hand crafted soap

scrap bundles or buttons

Ruler Bracelets/ TrashN2Tees

bath salt/scrub

essential oils

pin cushion

ruler cuff bracelets or upcycled pin cushion necklaces (shameless self-promotion!)

t-shirt yarn or plyarn

  1. While I love the seed idea, in Australia and New Zealand these are a no no as we have strict quarantine laws and the parcel may be held up at the border.

    1. Wow! I can totally understand and respect why such measures would be needed. Thank you so much for bringing it to our attention here. For anyone who needs additional information http://www.victoryseeds.com/au-allowed.html
