Kickstarter Update: 6 days to fund
Hi All! We're galloping in on the home stretch- there are only 6 days left to fund the Create Change App on Kickstarter. Today we are 304 $50 pledges away from developing the Create Change
App, or 607 $25 pledges or 1,011 $15 pledges! The combination doesn't
matter much- what matters is the difference we will make. What matters
is the amount of trash we'll divert from our landfills. What matters is the actions we choose to take, today.
So
often I hear people who want to do something to make a difference,
who want to leave a legacy, who yearn to sprinkle the world with glitter
and goodness. I know how overwhelming it can be to figure out a place
to start. Alexandra Franzen suggested that I start with the things I can
do now that will impact the most people. I present to you the Create
Change App Kickstarter on a platter, it includes curly lettuce for the
effect.
I'm calling on you today to take
action, to tap into your own contacts & spread the word. And you
know something, I don't feel bad for asking you to do this. (I thought I
would!) Our environment is under attack, landfills and waste are directly polluting our ground water and oceans, the air we breathe, and even our unborn children. (Babies are born with 250 industrial chemicals already in their bodies ewg.org)
This movement to change the way we consume and create is long over due
and much needed. According to the EPA the +1,700 landills in America
will be full- what then? This is our movement & I need your help to
instigate it.
Tweet it, Pin it, Tumblr, or smoke signal it.
